It did dry out but not intentional. I just procrastinated and did not throw it out when I should.

Indeed plants are better. An orchid our daughter had left us for caretaking while she was away, lost its flowers. We put it in the garden in a “wall” of plants we have. And oh surprise, after a year it’s sprouting half dozen flowers. nature is better left unattended.

I usually get lily’s for mother’s day and each year I plant them at my mother’s house. It is always nice to see the come back.

Can you believe I had to look it up. Fleur de lys. Yes, they are quite resilient. I still have a few survivors from a past office I had. Very nice flowers. (And a symbol of the French monarchy)
