Curly Q’s and Stars
When I looked at this flower with its curls and stars, one of my first thoughts was that it would be a great hat for a character in a Dr. Seuss book.
If you look close there is even a slight line under the petals that could be a frown. ( Sometimes my imagination gets the best of me.)
What are your thoughts?

Thru the Rain
Today was a perfect day for the 3rd WP Photo Assignment Water. Here in New Jersey we are getting rained out before the “BIG snow storm” hits night.
A view of rain drops thru my windshield. I did a similar post (Thirsty Tuesday) this past summer when this pond was lush and green.
This next flower is one that I posted last summer. I love how the droplet is reflecting the grass and trees.

Sharing a bit of Sunshine
I hate winter.
Here in NJ the air is chilly, the sky is gray, and everything looks blah. I needed to jazz up my mood a bit so I went to the local Produce Junction and found this beautiful flower.
Each petal is soft to the touch with a rich purple color. Its center is a burst of sunshine which is desperately needed today. Unfortunately I do not remember what it’s called.
Thanks for visiting and sharing my piece of sunshine today!
