72 days 19 hours 7 minutes 49 seconds
Just a few days ago I posted some pictures for the WP Photo Challenge: New at a lake by my job. Here is a Snowy perspective from the same lake taken today.
We received less than 2 inches of snow today and I realize that is not a lot compared to some other states but it is still enough for me to wish spring was here.
At the time of this post Spring is only 72 days 19 hours 7 minutes 49 seconds away.

WP Photo Challenge: New
This weeks WP Photo Challenge is New
I decided to take some new pictures of a pond on my lunch break today. Although the weather is getting cold and there is not much life (visible) at the lake was still relaxing and allowed for some reflection on the New Year.
For the last year or more I have been in a “rut”. This year is time for new thoughts and actions. I will stop putting off till tomorrow what I can do today. I will also be starting a new projet that has been on my mind for some time.
What is your version of “New”?

The Fantasy is Over
Two days ago I posted that I was happy to have 70 degree weather in November. Well folks the fantasy is over, as we have our first snow here in New Jersey.
The weather folks said that it would be a rain and snow mix, which it was then it turned to just snow. And it is sticking to the ground and cars!
I guess Mother Nature said it was time.
Thanks for visiting and as always comments are welcome.
Spring Already?
Today here in New Jersey it is a welcoming 70 degrees.
It reminds me of the beginning of spring instead of the winter that is fast approaching.
Since it feels like spring I wanted to share 2 pictures that I have previously posted that reminds me of spring.
Both pictures were taken at Longwood Gardens about 2 years ago. They are 2 of my favorite photos.
Thanks for visiting and of course all comments are welcome.
First real snow
Today is the 1st real snow for this winter here in New Jersey. Per the weather forecast we were suppose to only get a dusting. But needless to say the forecast was once again incorrect. In this day and age with all the technology the weather report is still a guessing game to a degree.
I love snow the first day when it is still white and not been touched by man. By the second day I wish it would melt away.
This is the view from my balcony window about an hour and half after the snow began.
This is the amount of snow that we received in that hour and a half.
An hour later the snow has nearly tripled.
The snow has finally stopped. It looks so calm outside.
