Wanna Be Happy?

Driving into work today I was listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show and I had the pleasure of being introduced to this new song by Kirk Franklin, Wanna Be Happy. 

This song hit a nerve within me in a good way.  It told me to get out of my way and let God do his thing. This song touched me.

I managed to get up early again and catch the beginning of another beautiful day.   The sun decided to hide behind the clouds today so no pictures of the sun kissing the ocean but I did get some pictures of the breath-taking colors in the sky.

Since the sun was not cooperating like i wanted it too, I was able to make a short clip of the sand Crabs throwing sand out of their holes

Please forgive the shaking I forgot to bring my tripod.

Sunrise Day 2

Since it is now night-time here I decided it was a good time to post this mornings sunrise.

Almost everyday my father and I will walk the beach with his other children,  Ebony and Bojangles.

This year Ebony has gone partially blind and can not go in the water like she used too.

Today officially marks 7 days away from the beginning of peace and relaxation.  I cannot wait!

Vacation will be in our usual location, Outer Banks, NC.  I have already begun reviewing some of the pictures from last year.  I will be able to see the sunrise again.

WP Photo Challenge: Serenity

Serenity means peace, calm and untroubled.

Being at the beach is where I am the most at peace.   Watching the waves and tide come in is so relaxing.  It just washes my troubles away by allowing me to put most of them into perspective.
