Finally a great sign!

On 10/4/14 the WP Photo Challenge was signs.  In October the price for a gallon of regular gas was $2.95.  Sightly over 2 months later the price for gas had dropped down to $1.99.  YA YA!! We have not seen prices this low in many years.  It is something how price can drop down so much when governments argue.

Will the price go up again once they kiss and make up?? (I do understand that it is more complicated than this.)

This also doubles as a Throw back Thursday post.

And it continues to drop!

And it continues to drop!

What are the gas prices like in your area?

Wordless Wednesday…

…..well just a few words.

After the snowy day we had on Tuesday and the freezing day we had today with 24 degree temperatures with a wind chill of 6 degrees this sky was very deceiving.

The sky makes it look like it was a warm sunny day.

72 days 19 hours 7 minutes 49 seconds

Just a few days ago I posted some pictures for the WP Photo Challenge: New at a lake by my job. Here is a Snowy perspective from the same lake taken today.

We received less than 2 inches of snow today and I realize that is not a lot compared to some other states but it is still enough for me to wish spring was here.

At the time of this post Spring is only 72 days 19 hours 7 minutes 49 seconds away.

Check out the Spring count down clock here.

WP Photo Challenge: New

This weeks WP Photo Challenge is New

I decided to take some new pictures of a pond on my lunch break today.  Although the weather is getting cold and there is not much life (visible) at the lake was still relaxing and allowed for some reflection on the New Year.

For the last year or more I have been in a “rut”. This year is time for new thoughts and actions.  I will stop putting off till tomorrow what I can do today.  I will also be starting a new projet that has been on my mind for some time.

What is your version of “New”?

Frank Rizzo

Frank Rizzo was the a mayor of Philadelphia from 1972 – 1980.  From what I remember you either loved him or hated him and this was divided mainly on race lines. Click here for an article in the NY Times or his Facebook page that is providing some history or this larger than life man.

While at a stop sign I saw this man sizing up Mr. Rizzo.
