Sharing a bit of Sunshine
I hate winter.
Here in NJ the air is chilly, the sky is gray, and everything looks blah. I needed to jazz up my mood a bit so I went to the local Produce Junction and found this beautiful flower.
Each petal is soft to the touch with a rich purple color. Its center is a burst of sunshine which is desperately needed today. Unfortunately I do not remember what it’s called.
Thanks for visiting and sharing my piece of sunshine today!

After I left New Brooklyn Lake Park I went to my mother’s house and took some pictures of her flowers. There is always a wide variety to choose from.
Although I used a Macro Lens I need to either learn to use properly or upgrade to another type as most of the pictures look the same as if it were taken with a regular kit lens. But I like them anyway.
Colors
A couple of my new blog friends. gracefully50 and A Pakistani Boy, have been blogging about colors and I thought that I would show my support for color. It is spring and a lot of flowers will begin to bloom. I love flowers they (most of them) send a beautiful fragrant in the air. Most people smile when they receive flowers.
Here are some colorful pictures of flowers that I have taken over the past couple of years.
