Rainbow Colors

Let’s Just Blow Bubbles

SOMETIMES . . .
Let’s just blow bubbles,
For no good reason
Let’s just blow bubbles,
Laugh a little, watch them disappear
Not even wonder where.
Smile and touch the rainbow colors
Watch them float in the air.
No reason why–
No goals, no structure.

SOMETIMES . . .
Let’s just
blow bubbles.

Reflective

While sitting in my car at my Work Oasis I noticed that the entire lake was frozen except this one spot.

As I got closer I was able to see the sky reflected.

I chose to make most of the photo black and white except the unfrozen portion of the lake.

After the Love

I love flowers.  Most weeks I treat myself to a bouquet or two of assorted flowers.  This last week I brought a beautiful bouquet of roses with the intention of taking some pictures.  Well life got in the way and that never happened.

They have since dried out and need to be discarded but I still wanted to take a picture of them.

When Love Dies

When love dies,
It ceases to exist.
And the flame that used to be,
Ceases to persist

It feels like a wound that won’t stop bleeding,
Like it’s your last breath you’re about to take,
And it feels like your soul’s watching,
And all you can do is pray you wake.

When love dies,
It’s like everything slows down to a stop
The tears that came rolling down your cheeks
Are taking ages to drop

To the cold tiled floor
I fell onto my knees,
It felt as if the light followed her shadow,
As she slammed closed the door…

Love died,
I know this because my soul died too.
And it was hurting as much
As all the pain I put her through.

When love died
I ceased to exist
The only thing that kept us together…
Ceased to persist.

A seedling has bloomed

“The biggest adventure one can take is to live the life of your dreams. “

My Balcony Oasis had a new bloom. I planted a mix bag if seeds and this is the second flower of that package.  The first one was my “Dr. Seuss Hat”.

I threw away the package so I have no clue what is.  Does any one know what it is called?

Eternal

For last weeks WP Photo Challenge Twinkle I posted a picture of some candles and offered Georgette who blogs at “A Walk on the Bright Side” to use the picture for one of her poems.

Georgetteann created “Eternal” for my Twinkle.

Make sure you go and visit A Walk on the Bright Side.
