Who the Heck is Roy G. Biv?

According to this weeks WP Challenge: Roy G. Biv is an acronym for colors of the rainbow, red, orange, yellow, green, indigo, and violet.  Here are my choices for this weeks challenge.

WP Photo Challenge: Orange

This week the WP Photo Challenge is Orange.  Orange is not my favorite color but I could not pass up the challenge.  Most of the flowers are from a past Philadelphia Flower Show.

This weekend I will be attending the Philadelphia Flower Show (provided everything goes as planned) so prepare yourselves for some beautiful flowers.

Now serving….

Nature’s Restaurant now open and serving all creatures big and small.

Kill Devil Hills, NC

Where is the sun?? Going to the beach for vacation you expect to have sun darn near every day.  But while on vacation in Kill Devil Hills my vacation week was anything but sunny.  Quite to the contrary it was rainy or had the treat of rain any minute almost every day.

In the mornings I would take a stroll on the beach with my father and his 2 dogs, Bojangles & Ebony. Saturday (last day of the trip) was the first day that we were able to get a pretty good view of the morning rise.

Finally the sun rise.

I was also able to catch some crabs cleaning the sand out of their tunnels.

A couple of my new blog friends. gracefully50 and A Pakistani Boy,  have been blogging about colors and I thought that I would show my support for color.  It is spring and a lot of flowers will begin to bloom.  I love flowers they (most of them) send a beautiful fragrant in the air.  Most people smile when they receive flowers.

Here are some colorful pictures of flowers that I have taken over the past couple of years.

I will be updating with more colors tomorrow, it is getting late here now.  Let me know what you thing about the colors/flowers.

Not exactly a flower but what the hect…

As promised here are the additional flowers.

Thanks for the “LIKES” and comments!
