Fruits of My Labor II

Today I harvested stringbeans, onions, Juliet tomatoes and tiny red skinned potatoes.

The potatoes are small because they were in a container that was not big enough. These are the only ones picked so far because the were close to the top and coming out the soil. I carefully repotted the plant into a much larger container.

I have learned that when a Hen and Chick flowers it is at the end of its life. Their life cycle is approximately 3 years. I have 2 that are in the final chapter.

When the Bough Breaks

Well not actual the bough but a pipe in my back yard. No major disaster issue will get fixed in the spring when the ground is not frozen.
