What does home mean to me?
I did not do to well with the WP Blogging 101 course but with this new course, WP Photo 101 I think I will do really well. My only issue is the daily posting. I hope I can deliver.
For our first assignment we need to show what home is or means to us. This was a bit difficult at first but after some thought the place that I feel most at home (besides mom’s house) is Arizona.
There is sun, sun and more sun with lots of heat. I am longing for some heat right about now. The desert was very calming and relaxing to me. It gave me a sense of peace which was so desperately needed.
I can’t wait for the time that I can move back or at least go for a long visit.
Prior to moving to Arizona I mainly wanted to go just because of the weather. After I went there for a vacation and to visit family I fell in love with the desert. Who would have ever thought that the desert could be beautiful?!
Thanks for visiting.

WP Photo Challenge: Dreamy
This weeks WP Photo Challenge is Dreamy.
At one time I lived in Arizona and this was a wonderful time. Due to several factors I moved back to New Jersey. I still dream of moving back there on day. In my dream I would have a home here in New Jersey for the summers and spend my winters in AZ being a “Snow bird”.
On Saturdays I would sometimes drive up 17 and turn off at any exit and take pictures. I could sit there for hours and just enjoy the peacefulness of the area. I could sure use this now.
Thanks for visiting all comments welcome.
A Walk Down Memory Lane
I am Jersey born and raise but for a couple of years I lived in Peoria Arizona. In my perfect world I would have a home in New Jersey and Arizona. That would make me a very happy person. At times I would long for Arizona and those feelings were triggered today when I reviewed a fellow bloggers post, iRiPhotography. This picture inspired me to pull up some of my desert picks.
Prior to moving to Arizona I never though that I would find the desert calming but it did just that, calmed me on those bad days. I would just get in my Saturn and drive up route 17 and just get off a random exit to see what was there and I was always able to find a view that I liked.
Thanks Joseph for the walk down memory lane!
