And Another One Visits!

This year I have seen so many Praying Mantis, probably more than I have seen in most of my life combined. Maybe a slight stretch but hopefully you get my point.

I enjoy photographing them as they usually seem to be looking at me trying to figure out what the heck I am doing.

Kairo the Amazing

This morning with my cats, Kairo and Greyson, it was another uneventful morning as usual. I feed them, cleaned the litterbox, and proceed to get ready for work.

As I am getting my clothes ready I hear this noise and when I look up this is what I see….

I think I just figured out what to add to my project list for the winter months….some sort of ledge so the cats cat get up really high.

My family will really start to call me the “Cat Lady” then.

Dragonfly

Except from Why the Dragonfly

The Dragonfly normally lives most of its life as a nymph or an immature. It flies only for a fraction of its life. This symbolizes and exemplifies the virtue of living in the moment and living life to the fullest. By living in the moment you are aware of who you are, where you are, what you are doing, what you want, what you don’t, and to make informed choices on a moment-to-moment basis. The eyes of the Dragonfly symbolize the uninhibited vision of the mind and the ability to see beyond the limitations of the human self. Dragonfly’s can be a symbol of self that comes with maturity. They can symbolize going past self-created illusions that limit our growth and ability to change.
