Faces
For this weeks Daily Post Challenge: Faces, I decided to share a picture of Arai with his great-grandfather (my dad) enjoying a quiet moment, a short video of playtime with Pop-pop and of course I had to also add a few funny faces.
I can not tell who had the most fun.
Here are a few funny faces of Arai.
As always thanks for visiting!
Traffic lights
This week’s WP Challenge is abstract. Here is my interpretation of abstract traffic lights. I turned the wipers off as I was sitting at a traffic light during last night’s storm.

This is my now!
While going through cancer treatments and dealing with all the mental anguish that comes with such an illness I was only focusing on the darkness and never saw the light.
After some time I forced myself to see the positive (light) that was also there. This was and still is a process that I am working to achieve.
In this photograph can either focus on the dark side or the light. I choose the light.
This song, This is My Now, was my anthem for a long time. It was the winning song performed on America Idol.
There was a time I packed my dreams away.
Living in a shell, hiding from myself.
There was a time when I was so afraid.
I thought I’d reached the end,
But baby that was then
I am made of more than my yesterdays.
This is my now, and I am breathing in the moment.
As I look around
I can’t believe the love I see.
My fears behind me, gone are the shadows and doubt
That was then, this is my now.
I have to decide,
Was I gonna to play it safe.
Or look somewhere deep in side,
Try to turn the tide,
And find the strength to take that step of faith.
This is my now, and I am breathing in the moment.
As I look around
I can’t believe the love I see.
My fears behind me, gone are the shadows and doubt
That was then, this is my now.
And I have the courage like never before, yeah.
I’ve settled for less now I’m ready for more,
Ready for more.
This is my now, and I am breathing in the moment.
As I look around I can’t believe the love I see.
My fears behind me, gone are the shadows and doubt
That was then, this is my now.
I’m living in the moment
I look around I can’t believe the love I see.
My fears behind me, gone are the shadows and doubt
That was then, this is my now.
This is my now.

Going thru some pictures looking for something that I felt fits this weeks WordPress Photo Challenge: Harmony. I remembered I had these shots from my visit to Batsto Village.

Loves Heart
This week’s WP Photo Challenge is Optimistic.
I am very optimistic about finding Love again. Love is a beautiful thing with all of its ups and downs. There is nothing greater than being in love and being loved back.
This fried rice heart was created by the chef at Benihana’s for my birthday. He even made it beat.

I went to a local park today with my grandson and daughter and had a good time. My daughter and I even got on the slide. Don’t ask where are the pictures as I will not be posting them…LOL
Here are some pictures for the WP Photo Challenge: Blur.
My handsome grandson was a pleasant muse for today.
