Camden

Today I had to take care of some business and needed to go to Camden, New Jersey.  When I finished, I took a little ride to a park where I photographed this water tower with the city name on it “Camden”.

I researched the city name and found out there are 23 other towns/cities in the United States, 3 in New Zealand, 1 in South Africa, United Kingdom, Bermuda and Australia with the name of Camden .    In total the are 30 towns/cities with the name Camden across this big world of ours.

I am entering this into this week’s Daily Post Challenge as I would rather be exploring Camden in another state or country to see how the are the same or different from Camden,  New Jersey.

WP Photo Challenge

It’s not this time of year without the falling pinecones.  The shape of a pinecone has always reminded me of christmas. As a child in elementary school we would decorate them like Christmas trees to hang as ornaments on the real tree.

What’s Fun For You…..

…….is not always fun for someone else.

Last weekend my niece Crystal and her son, Cameron, came over to swim with Arai. While trying to coax Cameron to get in his mother decided to have some fun.

However Cameron did not see anything fun about this.

Mere seconds after this photo was snapped little Cameron screamed so loud…he saw nothing funny.

The chicks have hatched! 18/30

The Chicks and Hens have bloomed.

I was expecting really brilliant and detailed flowers since the plant itself is not very detailed or colorful. But it is not.  It looks very delicate and the petals are a very soft pink.

What do you think?

Opposites

My entry for this weeks challenge, Opposites.  The same flower at different stages of blooming.  It is not truly opposites but for now it works.

Still looking for something else that fits the challenge better.

Pure Joy and Happiness

Arai’s mommy bought him his first pool. My little grandson had nothing but pure HAPPINESS and was so excited to jump in and get wet.

Make sure you checkout what others are saying about pure!

(PS don’t tell Arai’s mommy that she is now part of my blog in her PJ’s…LOL)

Spare Room

The front steps on my house need some repairs. My father and I planned on doing this sometime this summer.

Over the weekend I noticed that we apparently have a spare room that is housing several frogs.

I noticed that they like to sit in their entryway and watch our comings and goings. Even with little Arai and all his energy and curiosity they just sit and watch.

Now I am not sure how to fix the steps without shutting some of the frogs in, which I do not want to do.

I need a Plan B!

I have NEVER been this excited by myself.  I applaud Candace for making herself so jubilant with the birthday treat to herself.  It truly is the little things that bring the most joy.

Have you every been this happy by yourself?

These were taken today for this week’s Daily Post Challenge: Jubilant . I am happy or should i say jubilant because the sun has been out for 2 days, it’s sunny, and last day of the work week!

Once again I don’t know what type of blooms threes are.  They are on a tree.  Can anyone assist?
