Kairo the Amazing

This morning with my cats, Kairo and Greyson, it was another uneventful morning as usual. I feed them, cleaned the litterbox, and proceed to get ready for work.

As I am getting my clothes ready I hear this noise and when I look up this is what I see….

I think I just figured out what to add to my project list for the winter months….some sort of ledge so the cats cat get up really high.

My family will really start to call me the “Cat Lady” then.

Newest Attraction

Yesterday I spotted this cat in my back yard. He took off after I took this photo.

Comfortable

Kairo found a perfect spot to take one of his cat naps. I don’t know how he finds it comfortable to lay on soda bottles but it is working for him today.

Longing

Greyson is looking through the screen at me. If he could talk I am sure he is begging me to bring him outside to feel the sun on his fur.

The Underrated Duty

“There is no duty we so much underrate as the duty of being happy. By being happy we sow anonymous benefits upon the world.”~by Robert Louis Stevenson

I read this in Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach. It made me think “am I happy” or “do I just have happy moments?” I believe that I have happy moments but contentment is probably where I am at most of the time.

A piece of Happiness

I will continue to read this book daily to work on me getting back to happy as a norm instead of a moment at a time.

How about you, are you content or happy?

New Family Members

Introducing my new children, Greyson and Kairo. They are 9 week old brothers who could not be more different if they tried.

Greyson is the outgoing one who loves to climb up my back when I am sitting on the sofa or chasing my feet.

Kairo is slightly more reserved or shy. He loves to sleep on his back or under any blanket that he can find.
