Say Cheeeesssseee
While I was visiting Winnie at the Ranch I notice this horse (no name again) coming up to the fence. So I ventured over to him and he just started “talking”. He made me feel more at ease. Although I like horses their size makes me a bit apprehensive. I think I masked it pretty good as I did not want them to feel any negative energy from me.
This short video is of another horse in this same pen. I think after he saw how the horse above was interacting with me he decided to join in.

Shadows and Lines – version 2
I posted the color version of this fence the other day and Themofman from Modes of Flight stated that he would like to see this in moderate to high contrast black and white.
I am still working to improve my black and white photography/editing skills so please offer any constructive critiques on what I can change. I am also willing to share the original image to see how you could make it look GREAT.

WP Photo Challenge: Half and Half
Introducing my niece Chanel. I took some pregnant pictures of her a few weeks ago and this is one of the outtakes. I converted it to half color and half black & white for this weeks photo challenge “Half and Half”.
The image quality does not look to good but you get the idea.

From the back…
Another flower from my Balcony Oasis. I LOVE black and white photography but it is something that I am not very good at. The only way for me to get is to actively work on getting better.
Here are a couple of images converted to black and white using SnapSeed.
