Getting out the way.

My niece Caila is a sweetheart and she loves the water.  She always wanted to go swimming.  I was able to get her to bypass swimming a couple of times to go and discover some new things with me.

Waiting

Got up this morning at 5:50 to watch the sun grace us with its presence on another glorious day (pictures to follow later).

While leaving there is a store on the corner that has been there for years.  There is always an assortment of chairs on display, including this giant chair.

OBX ARRIVAL

We arrived safe and sound to OBX (Outer Banks, NC) after 357 miles which took  6.5 hours.

The home we rented is not ready yet since we got here 3 hours to soon so some of them broke out the dominoes.

Determination

My grandson has a ton of toys including a container full of blocks.  He decided that he was gong to play with the cams.  Here is how our conversation went about why:

Mom-mom: Why are you paying with the cans?

Arai: Building a rocket ship

Mom-mom: Where are you going in your rocket ship?

Arai : To the beach.
