Emergence
This pod has been growing in one of my flowerbeds for most of the summer and I have no clue what it is.
Yesterday I noticed that it has opened up and a bunch of seeds are emerging.
I still have not figured out what it is. I don’t know if it is something that I planted or a weed.
The pod looks like a string bean that is growing straightup instead of down.
Thanks for visiting!

I found the answer…. it is Butterfly weed.

Those look like flying seeds. Seen those more on trees. You’re going to need a “Garden vet”. 🙂

I think there is an app where you can match photos of plants, flowers, and it tells you what it is. No idea what the name is.

Monarch? Maybe you can make a small sanctuary. Here in Mexico their winter space has been reduced, I don’t know, divided by ten? a 100? A shame really.

That’s what I am planning on doing. I gathered up some of the seeds so I can plant next year. And hopefully I can have a bunch of butterflies next year.

Looks like something from the sweet pea family. There are apps at the Google play store that probably could identify this. The seeds look like dandelion but the plant reminds me of a sweet pea. Interesting! I want to know what it is 🤔
