Yes it is a feeder. I have one with seeds and 3 with sugar water.
Before this house I found other projects to do I like making different types of pillows. Haven’t don’t that in a while. Might do some overt the winter.

I usually give them away as gifts or sell if someone wants something special. I doubt go crazy with the design most are simple.
