The Works

As you know, yesterday was July 4th, Independence Day here in the USA.  Most people go to or host a Barbecue, go to a parade or both.  I went to a barbecue and after all the good food had a chance to settle (you always over eat at BBQ’s) it was fireworks time.

Here are a few of my attempts to capture the awesome fireworks display.  Some of them I held the shutter open to long, others not long enough, and some were just right.

Flower of the Day 7/5/19

Sometimes what you’re most afraid of doing is the very thing that will set you free.

I am not sure what name this flower goes by, it was included in a packet of assorted wild flower seeds.

Can anyone identify this beauty?
