Those are good looking wild berries. I love praying mantises .

It was a good find. He/she was just sitting by the rose trying to blend in.

The mantis has a long slender abdomen, which means it’s probably a male. Females has 5 segments on their abdomens and males have 7. If a mantis has 6 segments it’s considered female/male, but I’m not sure whether or not 6 segment mantises are true hermaphrodites.
