Fairies all around us
These are not actually fairies but termites. Before they settled down on this tree stump, they were fluttering all around looking faries…..sometimes my imagination can be very vivid for 52 year “young” woman.
Termites can reek much havoc on a home by causing hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars in damage to the structure of the property.
In spite of this, I will still consider them fairies for this post.
Thank you for visiting!Â

Destructive fairies ….had the misfortune of experiencing them in my house.

Sorry to hear that Tim. They are indeed very destructive to our property.

We have these at home too. I don’t think of them as fairies but as annoying flying creatures whose wings fall off all over the floor after a while. Love your imagination though 🙂

I am sure they are very annoying creatures. I have not had the misfortune of them making a “home” in my home and hope to never have to experience that.

fearful fairies. Lots of those in the Tropics. Didn’t know you had them “up North” too.

And with many, many wooden houses in the US, that must be terrifying…

Very terrifying. Can cost thousands of dollars to repair.
