Tent Caterpillar

As a child I used to see a lot of cocoons in trees, but not so much anymore.  Is that a good or bad thing?  Who knows but I suspect it is not good as this may mean that there are fewer and fewer of these worms.

Entered for this weeks Daily Post Photo Challenge: Transient since the cocoons do not las long.  Here today gone tomorrow (few weeks)
