Bear Crossing 2
Last year I was told about the wild bears that are about an 45 minutes from where we are staying. When I took the pictures all looked great on my camera however, when I went to upload them I lost 90% of the pictures.
So I had to go back again this year to see if we can get lucky again. Luck was on our side, we saw 3 bears, a cub and 2 adult bears.
Unfortunately 1 of the adult bears was dead. It appeared to have been shot. If you look closely at the adult bear you will see that it appears have been shot. I notified the Animal Refuge agency the next day.
Thanks for visiting!

So cool how you are so close to seeing wildlife. Sad about the 1 bear!

Thank you Joy! Yes it was sad and this bear was also injured. I hope the call I made got him some medical help.

45 minutes away? New jersey is defintiely not what I thought. And I did spend some time there. Careful with bears, especially with cubs. Sorry about the injured one.

We do have bears in NJ especially near my job. There have been several sightings over the last couple of years.
This is a picture from North Carolina while on vacation. It is 45 minutes from where we were staying on vacation.
