The Green Machine
****UPDATE was able to find out that this is a Pond Hawk Dragonfly.
Yesterday before the storm hit I took a brief walk at the lake by my job and found this dragonfly.
I do not know what type it is so if someone knows please let me know.
Thanks for visiting!

We have the green ones here in Virginia too, but I don’t know the names of any of the types of dragonflies!
You might ask The Dragonfly Woman (Chris Goforth). She’s very gracious about identifying insects of all kinds. Tell her I said hi.
