Could you?

Driving down the highway on my way home I was behind this car that had an interesting sign on the window:

~~POOP~~

~~POOP~~

All Dogs Poop!  I can imagine that this can be a very lucrative business as there is plenty of shit poop out there but could you open a business to clean it up?

I have worked various jobs to help put food on the table for my kids but I would never in a million years have thought of doing this.  However if push came to shove and this was all that was available I would be right there with my little shovel.

Check out there website.

  1. With all honesty I can say that job is not on my top 100 list but, if poop came to shove, I, too, would be out there with my shovel and plastic baggie!

  2. I’ve used a company like that when my husband traveled and I was home alone with the boys. It helped me have one less job to cover without him to help out and they did a good job of it too. I wouldn’t want to do it either, but I also think there are far worse jobs to do.

    • The company does indeed serve a purpose and are truly needed by many. There are a few jobs that I would choose cleaning dog poo over in a heartbeat. I have watched the show “Dirty Jobs”. This would not be a choice job for me but a necessary paycheck job.

  3. I saw that someone in our area started a business doing that some time ago. Not sure I’d want to do that all day, but agree with Nancy, there are worse jobs.

  4. In Kansas City, there was a company I’d see on the road that did this. They pulled a trailer behind their car with several cans and rakes and a sign. I can’t remember the name of the company but it was in the same line of business and since I was the chief cleaner in my yard I could certainly understand the need. 🙂
