The Burning Bush
This bush is green 90% of its life during a season. When fall arrives its leaves turn red, hence the name Burning Bush.

I love Burning Bush. We had a couple in the Midwest but when I moved to NH and became a Master Gardener I found that it is on the invasive species list here in the state. So, I admire those that have survived and have been around a while before invasive species lists started.

I do not understand how a plant can be on an invasive list. I think you should be able to have almost an plant that you want in your garden.

When I owned my home we had all sorts of folwers and plants. That is the main thing that I miss now that I live in an apartment.
