Abstract Art (2)
Another suggestion on You Tube was to use water, oil & food coloring. So here goes my first attempt.
I like the where this is going but I definitely need to learn more about my camera (shutter speed and aperture) and at some point I need to invest in a better macro lenses.
As always your opinions and suggestions are welcome.
Abstract Art
Trying something new….Abstact Art.
You Tube is an excellent place to learn new things. I saw this video and decided that I would give it a try.
Your opinion is welcome.

Sunday Stills, the next challenge: Lookin’ Through Windows
Here is my contribution to Sunday Stills, the next challenge: Lookin’ Through Windows
This is the view thru my car window when I went to Burger King for lunch today.
An Afternoon Out
Today I had the pleasure of going to Laurita Winery, to sample some wine and eat some food from the numerous food trucks that they had for the visitors today.
There was food, wine, music, walks, old buildings and a wood-carver to mention just some of the things that we could enjoy.
The wood-carver used a couple of saws to carve up logs. This was fun to watch and it took him about 45 minutes to make a carving….a frog.
Unfortunately we did not get to see the finished product since we were also treated to spiders.
When I told my sister-in-law that spiders were also watching the show it was time to go so we did not get to see the finished product.
The Winery has approximately 47 acres of land. From our tour guide we learned several things…..
1. All wine is created from start to finish on this property.
2. You can not buy any of the wines that are produced at Laurita Winery in any liquor store.
3. By using solar energy and a man-made pond the winery is totally self-sufficient.
4. Bats live in one of the old buildings and they take care of the majority of the insects that could damage the grapes.
