I made it in the local paper!
My mother is my strongest supporter in getting some of my photography noticed by the powers that be. She told me how our local paper “Courier-Post” wants its residents to show them what we see and do in South Jersey.
To enter you just need to tag photos #sjshowus on Instagram and they will select pictures to be featured each sunday.
For the last 2 weeks I have been tagging some my photos, #sjshowus, and I got featured in today’s paper for my picture of Marilyn Monroe.
I am so HAPPY!
Here is Marilyn Monroe again.
Graffiti Street Gallery & The Delaware River
Took a ride with some photographers to the decaying coal pier in Port Richmond, PA (just outside Philadelphia). This place is a hidden gem. The pillars in his place are the canvases to these young artist.
I am assuming that this is where the ships would come in with the coal for the electic company a few miles away.
While we were there kids were even swimming in this river.
I know most of their parents would ground them if they knew what they were doing. This could be very dangerous.

Chess anyone?
Here are a folks relaxing after a hard day of work playing a game of chess. Check out Grounds for Sculpture.
Abstract Art?
Here are a few abstract sculptures that I saw at the Grounds for Sculpture.
What are your thoughts on Abstract Art? I wish that some artist would explain what the piece means to them and then maybe I could understand it a bit more.
The 1st and 4th piece I am not sure about. The 2nd and 3rd one, I can imagine different stories about what they are or can be used for.
What do you think?
Grounds for Sculpture – Marilyn Monroe
Went to the Grounds for Sculpture today working on my Basic Photography lesson. This is an amazing place the sculptures are just beautiful!
I spent 2 hours there and did not see the entire collection. Will be scheduling another trip real soon.
