A stroll in the park

Took a walk in Berlin Park today. I lived in this area for most of my life and never actually walked this park. 

A Dragonfly even decided to pose for me. 

I am not sure if this is a “weed” or a “flower” but I thought it photographed nicely.

Saw this as I was ordering my lunch at McDonalds today.  I am not sure what the name of this flower is, but I am almost positive it is in the Lily family. 

We need to open or eyes as beauty is all around us.

Mr.  Slime to welcome me home this evening.

My First in a long time!

My first Raspberry Martini in quite a while.  It was perfect!

Ingredients:
3 parts Absolut Vodka
1 Teaspoon Brown Sugar
10 Whole Raspberries

Fill shaker with ice cubes. Add raspberries and brown sugar then Muddle (crush). Add Absolut Vodka. Shake well and strain into chilled cocktail/Martini glass.  Garnish with raspberry (I like to garnish with an orange slice).

Enjoy responsibly.
