Quote of the Day…..
“There’s always going to be bad stuff out there. But here’s the amazing thing—light trumps darkness, every time. You can stick a candle into the dark, but you can’t stick the dark into the light.”
“How we grow—emotionally, spiritually, relationally, financially—is to take a risk.”
“Wellness isn’t about deprivation and it’s not about perfection. It is about pointing yourself in the direction of growth, training yourself to get comfortable with your highest potential, and then taking small steps to support that shift. It’s about showing up for yourself, day by day, and then one day finding that you’ve undergone a transformation.”
On our recent trip to Cape May a few weeks ago to try to see the butterfly migration we made a little side trip to the beach. Once we got there my niece Caila wanted go swimming, had to tell her no swimming in October. But how can you go to the beach without at least getting your feet. So I let her put her feet in the ocean and then I had a great idea, just to take pictures of her feet.
It was different because then you did not have to worry trying to get her to have a “natural” or “happy” expression on her face.
Childhood innocence. This day brought back memories of when I was a child and my mother would take us to Atlantic City and walk the boardwalk. This was before the casinos came to town…LOL
Let me know what you think.
My nephew, Russell “RJ” Forchion, and his team, Hammonton Blue Devils(NJ), are the new Conference Champions!! They kicked butt this evening.
The first 3 quarters were a bit close 16-7 but once the 4th quarter came, it was game on. 3 TD’s for the Blue Devils and there was no way Holy Spirit could come back.
Family and friends were all there to help cheer them on to Victory. We are so proud of RJ and the entire team of the Hammonton Blue Devils.
WE LOVE YOU RJ.
Check out their new State & National Rankings
The Blue Devils have made All Conference (9-1-0) Russell Forchion and team mates did their thing and pulled off another GREAT win. Next game Timber Creek on 12/2/11. Better be there!!!
Too many people overvalue what they are “NOT”
and undervalue what they “ARE”.

Our photo excursion to Cape May NJ.
My nieces, nephew and I took a long ride yesterday thru the country of South Jersey. We stopped by a lake that had a lot of ducks just resting on the water.
After the lake we made our way to The Point at Cape May, NJ. For an October day it was rather warm. We felt a bit over dressed for the beach. We took tons of pictures. The kids decided to take a little stroll down the beach (they look so sweet together).
During this time of year the Monarch Butterflies make their annual migration to the south. Since we got there a little late in the day, we did not get to see butterflies but what we did see was beautiful.
My nephew Carlito was able to get one on a small flower that he held.
Watch out America here are a few of the “Up and Coming Photographers”
I was watching 20/20 this evening and at the end of the show it talked about the philosophy that Steve Jobs lived by. When I heard them, I realized that it is how we all should live our life and pursue our dreams and desires. Here are his 7 principles of life as told by 20/20:
- Do what you love…. Don’t Settle!!
- Put a dent in the universe….Have a concise vision
- Say no to a thousand things.…Reduce the clutter and focus
- Do something new….Think differently
- Sell dreams not products….Have your audience imagine themselves with your product
- Create insanely great experiences…..Create the experience
- Master the message….Know the pros and cons inside and out
We will be judged on how well we present our ourselves. So you must do what you like, focus on your dream and keep all the other things that are not in your goals out of your focus. Try a new way to present yourself, your skills, or your product that will make an experience for audience or customer. Master your product/skills know it inside and out.
